Cafe-Bar Las Palmeras is a charming bar & grill nestled in the heart of Corvera's quaint village square, offering an authentic taste of Murcia’s local culinary traditions. This delightful spot shines as a true neighborhood gem, where simple, homemade Spanish cuisine is served with genuine warmth and attentive care.
Step inside or settle on the inviting terrace to soak in the relaxed rural ambiance while savoring their well-loved Menu del Día. Diners regularly praise the thoughtfully prepared dishes, such as the beautifully presented, refreshingly tangy gazpacho that awakens your palate, or the classic Spanish tortilla, which offers the comfort of home-cooked flavors. The menu embraces traditional staples and generous portions that satisfy without overwhelming, capturing the essence of everyday Spanish dining.
Beyond food, the drink selection supports a leisurely experience—whether it’s a glass of robust local wine perfectly paired with a variety of tapas or a freshly brewed coffee that earns heartfelt praises from patrons like Rozen Ravello. The bar buzzes softly with village life, providing a friendly atmosphere where locals and visitors alike can pause and watch the world amble by in summer’s gentle pace.
The service at Las Palmeras stands out, too. Reviewers highlight the welcoming, attentive staff who add to the feeling of being a valued guest rather than a mere customer. A small but meaningful touch that stuck with guests is their English-friendly approach, making ordering effortless for international visitors.

Only had the dish of the day, glass of wine and a dessert, but it was very good! Simple, home-made food, lovely spot to sit and watch the world amble by (this is a rural town in summer, after all!), attentive service...will definitely be back!

A very typical Spanish bar offering menu of the day at a very reasonable price. Clean toilets. We parked in the high street and walked there. It was busy as the lunch time people arrived around 2pm. Friendly service with some English spoken.

Simple Spanish bar/restaurant. We paid 14€ for Menu del Día and a drink and coffee. The gazpacho was presented well (and tasty). The tarta de chocolate desert was fantastic. Nice waiter. It was very sweet that he wrote down the MDD options in English for a couple that were ordering just before us. Clean ladies toilet.
